A booster club is an organization that is formed to support an associated club, sports team, or organization. The booster club can support this through raising funds or coordinating events.... Booster clubs are not social clubs. Rather, their main purpose is to develop support and raise funds for the support of the team or program at hand.
The Wheeling Nailers Booster Club is not just a fan club, we are involved in many behind the scene functions to help support the team, and here are just a few of the fun and exciting things the Booster Club does.Your Wheeling Nailers Boosters not only supports the team but also the community and Ohio Valley region at large thru their fund raising efforts; IE// Game day, 50/50, bus trips, community events, general donations, etc.. We also are a registered 501-C3 organization. We annually donate to a list of exterior organizations that the Wheeling Nailers Boosters members feel compelled to help further their own missions during each season.
Our Booster Club makes every attempt to make our players feel at home. Setting up the players apartments, supplying players groceries, etc. We do what we can to make our boys feel right at home! When players need transportation to or from the airport, the Booster Club is able to assist by giving the players rides at no cost to the player.
So Let's go on a road trip! The Booster Club runs a bus trip to see our boys on the road. We want to show our support to the team even when they are away. The Booster Club is able to do the majority of what we do thru our fundraising events. We sell refreshments at events like the Summer FREE concerts, and other local community gatherings. The Booster Club also sells and raffles off items in the arena at the Booster table. in the main concourse of the arena.
It's always a good time of the year to join the Wheeling Nailers Booster Club. It is FREE to register. Annual dues are $15 Person or $25 Family.
