The Ankeny Sports Booster Club is a group of adults organized to support all Ankeny Hawk and Ankeny Centennial Jaguar athletic teams. The Ankeny Booster Club is a group that, through their monetary contribution, helps support the student athletes of both Ankeny High Schools. It was established in 1983 by former athletic director, Mr. Fred Smith. The campaign is coordinated through the Ankeny Sports Booster Club. Here are a few ways you can get involved: * Become a "Booster Club" member and display your window decal proudly. * Become a Parent Representative for your sport. Your coach has more information if your interested. * If your time is very limited, but you would still want to help whenever you can, sign up to be a "Volunteer". With a small army of volunteers, each only has to help out occasionally! * Qualifications for being elected to the Executive Board position are simply integrity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to work. We still have a few openings for this year. You could be part of the New System! *If you can do nothing else, please support our athletes by attending games. Your financial support (ticket and concessions sales go to the sport) and encouragement in the stands are invaluable. The Ankeny community has a long, and rich tradition of supporting its athletic programs, and the Booster Club plays a vital role in raising the much-needed funds for our all of our activity programs.
