Allatoona Buccaneer Touchdown Club, Inc. is a non-profit organization created under the laws of the State of Georgia.
The organization was formed exclusively to:
- Promote parent / student involvement.
- Coordinate all supporting activities, including feeder program.
- Encourage attendance at football related functions and it’s athletes.
- Provide those services, facilities and equipment which are not provided by the school.
- Ensure recognition for the football program and it’s athletes.
- Increase the enjoyment of the fans at all football activities.
One of the primary purposes of the booster club is to support the football program both from a financial standpoint as well as from a “human effort” volunteer standpoint. Supporting a program the size of football takes funding which the school or county cannot provide. That leaves the burden to you and me as supporters of AHS football. Throughout the year, you will be asked to participate in several fundraising activities such as Dining Card sales, Program Ad sales, and Booster Club membership dues. In addition to fundraising, we need your participation on the various committees we have. The hard work of 200 people will go much further than the hard work of twenty people. We need your involvement. Welcome to Buccaneer football. There’s much to be done both on and off the field. With your support and participation, we will help the AHS football coaching staff and players achieve their goal of making Allatoona High School football one of the premier football programs in the state of Georgia. The officers of the executive committee is listed as follows: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The Fund Raising Committee will coordinate membership drives, program advertisement sales, man membership tables at various community functions, and assist in all other fund raising activities. The Hospitality Committee will coordinate all booster sponsored banquet and press box activities, including food, supplies, and personnel. The Game Programs Committee is responsible for preparations involved in distribution of game programs and rosters, including advertising, printing, and sales. The Executive Committee is in charge of handling day-to-day expenses, and supervising the other standing committees. The Concessions Committee will coordinate all supplies, equipment, and personnel needed to run concessions. The Public Relations Committee will advise school media with newsworthy events and accomplishments. The Building and Grounds Committee is responsible for maintaining stadium and grounds of Allatoona High School. Youth Committee members will direct and coordinate activities of booster-funded feeder programs. In addition to running regular fundraising events, the Allatoona High School Touchdown Booster Club also helps coordinate and bring in local sponsors to help support the Allatoona High School Football Team. Our Sponsors not only enjoy supporting their local community through school athletics, but receive promotional visibility in exchange for their support. We are always interested in new sponsors as we continue to grow the Allatoona High School and Youth Football Teams in the Acworth, Georgia area.
