Academic Booster Club, a parent volunteer-led organization, supports the students, teachers and administrators at Wimberley High School to bolster educational achievement and an optimal learning environment. The volunteer team provides quarterly and special occasion staff and teacher luncheons, raises funds to award more than $6,000 in academic scholarships yearly and creates spaces at the high school that boost teacher morale. The Academic Booster Club needs you! We are the parents, teachers and community members who support activities, special events and other academic and extracurricular programs of Wimberley High School students. These students are your children and neighbors. They need adult support and encouragement to be successful. The most successful schools are those where parents and community supporters are actively involved. The Academic Booster Club (ABC) performs the following activities: * Raises scholarship money for our graduating seniors * Serves appreciation luncheons three times a year to the high school staff Annual dues are only $20 per family, $10 for staff/teacher membership. Understandably, you may not always have the time and energy to participate directly in school activities, but your $20 membership fee and any additional contribution you would like to include will help support our efforts. Our monthly meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month in the high school library at 7 p.m.
