The purpose of The Shark Band Booster Foundation (SBBF) is to raise money and coordinate parent/volunteer activities in support of the Southside High School Band Program (Youngsville, LA), which includes the band, color guard, and dance team, herein referred to as “Band Program”, and Directors at Southside High School. The Shark Band Booster Foundation is empowered to address the needs and actions of the band program at Southside High School. 

The vision of The SBBF is to enhance the musical educational experience for the members of the SHS Band Program, to foster a closer relationship between the Southside High School Band Program and its community, and to promote successful outcomes for all students by providing financial and moral support. The Shark Band Booster Foundation will operate strictly for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code.
