We are the touring/cruising car club of the Great Lakes Region (GLR) of the Vintage Motor Car Club of America (VMCCA). We believe in the preservation and enjoyment of vintage/classic cars and trucks. We welcome enthusiasts of all years, makes and models of historical vehicles (defined as 25 years or older) to join us on local cruises and activities, as well as regional and national tours. However, you do not need to own a classic car to be a member. Member families participate as much or as little as they prefer - a great way to enjoy the classic car hobby while balancing busy family and work lives.

As a 501(c)(7) nonprofit organization, GLR consists of 11 active chapters across the region, each one run independently with its own officers. GLR itself oversees these chapters with its own Board of Directors. VMCCA was founded in 1938. GLR members must be members of the national organization, while local chapter membership is optional. As of 2026, VMCCA national dues were $58 per family (printed Bulb Horn Magazine) or $50 (digital emailed Bulb Horn). GLR membership is an additional $5 per family. Some chapters also have local dues.
