Volunteer
At Franklinton High School, theatre isn’t just an extracurricular — it’s a vibrant, creative force that brings students, families, and the entire community together. The Franklinton High School Theatre Booster Club is the passionate, all-volunteer organization that champions this mission.
We support the students, directors, and creative teams who bring high-quality theatre productions to life each year. From fall plays to spring musicals, from junior shows to student showcases, we ensure every performer, tech crew member, and audience member experiences the magic of theatre at its very best.
The Franklinton High School Theatre Booster Club exists to:
Elevate student theatre by providing financial, material, and volunteer support.
Foster community spirit through events that celebrate the arts and connect people of all ages.
Encourage creativity and leadership by investing in student development both on and off stage.
Grow the program’s reach through sponsorships, partnerships, and local engagement.
We believe the performing arts build confidence, teamwork, discipline, and empathy — skills that serve students for a lifetime. Whether they’re in the spotlight or behind the scenes, our kids deserve a stage worthy of their talents.
Theatre is more than lights, costumes, and applause — it takes resources, time, and a village. The Booster Club proudly supports the program by:
Funding key needs like costumes, sets, props, lighting, sound equipment, and royalties
Providing meals and snacks for cast and crew during long tech weeks and performances
Coordinating volunteers for concessions, front-of-house, ticketing, set construction, and more
Organizing fundraisers like merchandise sales, spirit nights, program ads, and silent auctions
Sponsoring student recognition with show shirts, awards, and scholarships
Promoting performances through marketing, social media, signage, and community outreach
We fill in the gaps that school budgets can’t — making sure our theatre program can dream big and deliver unforgettable experiences.
A strong booster club means a strong theatre program. Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, alumni, business owner, or theatre lover, you can play a part in creating something amazing for our students. Here’s how you can help:
We need helping hands before, during, and after each show. Whether you’ve got an hour or a whole weekend, your time makes a difference — from painting sets to serving cookies.
Support the arts and advertise your business to hundreds of local families. Our sponsorship packages offer great visibility and meaningful community impact.
Every dollar helps us offset costs for families and invest directly into student experiences. We welcome one-time gifts, monthly support, and in-kind donations.
Buy tickets. Clap loudly. Share our show posters. Follow us on social media. Encourage young performers. Your presence matters more than you know.
The Franklinton High School Theatre Booster Club is more than a support organization — it’s a community of believers in the power of the arts to change lives. When students see a packed house, when a set gets built in record time, when a senior receives a scholarship — that’s the Booster Club in action.
Join us in lifting up the next generation of storytellers, performers, leaders, and dreamers.
