To provide our student-athletes with the tools they need to succeed in and out of the pool.

BOOSTER CLUB MEETINGS:

All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend!

When: First Monday of each month (Except July), 7:00-8:30pm

Where: Andover Community Center (Unless otherwise noted) - CURRENTLY MEETING ONLINE

Who: All parents/guardians are automatically members of the booster club and welcome to attend/participate in the meetings. FUNDRAISING: ASDBC aims to lower the cost of participating in athletics for our families. Several expenditures recur every year such as facility costs, training and meet equipment, additional coaching expenses, and team-building events. The largest portion of funds each year goes towards an out-of-town invitational meet for the girls' and boys' teams. Athletes are able to compete against unfamiliar opponents, build new bonds as a team, and create memories they'll carry with them beyond the season. Booster Club Events As members of the Andover Swim and Dive Booster Club parents/guardians are encouraged to volunteer. The Booster Club facilitates and sponsors several events throughout the year that provide a variety of opportunities for parents/guardians to become actively involved. The following is a selection of examples of the opportunities available throughout the year. ASDBC members plan these events and set up volunteers so that the athletes can focus on their swimming and diving. Without the help of volunteers the experience of the Andover swimmers and divers would be diminished. Home Swim Meets

Amazon remembers your selection and applies that selection every time you shop through AmazonSmile. Meet Events At home dual meets the Booster Club provides a concession table for fans and athletes. Water, pop, and snacks are donated to be sold at each meet. Chuck-A-Duck gives an opportunity for fans to get part of that evening's donations. Fans purchase rubber ducks that they try to throw into an inflatable duck during the break for diving. Ducks that land in the inflatable are eligible to be selected for a prize. Recurring Fundraising: Clothing Drives (spring and fall) to benefit ASDBC and the Epilepsy Foundation Each spring and fall, the booster club conducts a clothing drive in conjunction with with the Epilepsy Foundation (MN). Clothing, linens, beddings, and accessories are collected to fill a truck. Typically the ASDBC drives require a second truck to pick up all of the donations. Green Valley Gift Cards Gift cards are available for sale each spring. A $25 gift card costs the buyer $25 (no markup) and $7 of that purchase price goes to the booster club to support your divers and swimmers.

Team Fundraising:

Each year each team has a fundraising drive. Some past events have been through services such as GoFundMe and Snap! Raise. Some team events have been more product driven such as selling Heggies Pizza. Recent boys' fundraiser - Heggies Pizza For the 2019-2020 season the boys' team sold Heggies Pizza. The final results were 552 pizza sold raising a total of $3,163.80.

For the 2020-21 season fundraiser the boys' team will be selling Heggies Pizza. Girls' team member may be given the opportunity to assist in selling.
