The goals we hope to achieve as the Academic Boosters of Crestview are: Providing leadership training for our students Funding scholarships for our graduating seniors Recognizing our top students and top teachers/coaches Supporting programs for our students and staff Academic Boosters of Crestview is looking for new leadership to manage this very small but extremely important and long standing booster club. Ideally, looking for individuals interested in running the club with the integrity of the goals and bylaws set by the original Boosters, including maintaining the current programs and to reinstate/initiate programs. Crestview 1000 Society

Our programs during the past 30+ years have consisted of having a prominent presence in the Academic Challenge program, Destination Imagination, Leadership Training for students, as well as senior scholarships and the annual Crestview S.A.I.L. Recognition evening. ABC programs are strongly dependent upon the monetary contributions received through membership in the $1000 Society and general contributions. All it takes to become a member of this prestigious group is to pledge $100 per school year for 10 years or a one-time donation. Your family’s/business’s engraved name will be displayed amongst all our $1000 Society members. These plaques can be viewed in the commons area in the Crestview High School. Contributors will also be recognized with the District’s CrestView newsletter which reaches over 3,500 homes as well as during our Crestview Leadership Recognition evening.

S.A.I.L.

This annual event is where Seniors Appreciate their Influential Leaders. "Their titles of teacher, advisor, and coach may vary, but one title stays constant for all .. Leader. These people have led these students through the past years. They taught, trained and encouraged them so that they can navigate any bumpy waters as they sail forward to become the next generation of Leaders." The Academic Boosters of Crestview (ABC) is an organization that has supported our student scholars, teachers and staff. To support and recognize academic achievement in the Crestview School System. This support and recognition will not be limited to only those students at the top of the academic scale. It will include all students making them aware that their endeavors are worthwhile and appreciated.

• The organization will provide specific methods for attracting community attention to students whose efforts for achievements are judged outstanding.

• The group will provide funds, other resources or personnel that can be used to broaden student’s educational experiences.

• The organization will encourage family and community participation in and support of all students academic lives.

• The club will support and recognize ongoing efforts by school administrators and faculty members in promoting academic excellence.

• The group will explore, implement and support new areas of educational experiences for all students.
