The purpose of the Wilkes University Touchdown Club is to ensure that our student athletes have everything need to be successful both on and off the field.  We our and will remain 100% independent of the university Administration, and are here to Aid OUR Football team, player as well as coaches in any way possible.  Team meals, T shirts, and other needs as identified by our board and OUR direct interaction with the head coach, will be our sole mission.  ALL MONEY RAISED WILL STAY IN 0UR ACCOUNT AND AS BILLS ARE APPROVED we will pay them directly. We are a 100% tax exempt charitable organization, which means that a donation to the Touchdown club will be a 100 % charitable contrabution that you will receive a letter with our club chartible information for tax purpose, while protecting ALL of our Donations from being absorbed by the University, with there latest shift to the "first dollar accounting principle, which in simple terms means if a donations is not "restricted for a specific purpose by the donor, IE; to football for new shoes, if you dont state you want your donation restricted for, then the university can Sweep ANY account on campus and TAKE any UNRESTRICED funds and use it elsewhere at the end of the school year.
