BORDENTOWN FIELD HOCKEY BOOSTER CLU

The Bordentown Field Hockey League is dedicated to cultivating and encouraging the development of young women by providing the opportunity for personal and athletic growth in the sport of field hockey. Our goal is to educate our players on the fundamentals of field hockey as well as encourage self-esteem, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a safe, healthy and positive environment.

We are open to young women, Kindergarten through 8th grade, in Bordentown and surrounding areas.

We are happy to announce that 2017 is the first year of our new, Girls Empowering Girls Campaign. A campaign dedicated to leadership, empowerment and anti-bullying. Through the efforts of this program, we hope to empower a young generation of women to be themselves, be strong and be leaders in our community.

Bordentown Field Hockey League Goals 1.            Our goal is not to promote individuals, but to promote skill development, sportsmanship, team play and love of the sport. 2.            Create and maintain grade level programs focused on teaching fundamental skills and introducing low-key competition with similar programs in nearby towns in Burlington County. 3.            Creating a challenging, engaging, learning environment where children of differing levels of skill and physical development can learn and enjoy the game of field hockey. 4.            Playing time to all participants. 5.            Providing equal attention and support to all participants. 6.            Engaging adults and experienced high school players to teach and coach games in which BFHL players participate. 7.            Providing access to safe, well maintained fields with appropriate equipment and uniforms. 8.            To incorporate a nutritional awareness and a health centered lifestyle into our daily practice . 9.            To support these young athletes and teach them the skills to achieve their potential and future goals.
