About
The Leander AFJROTC Booster Club is dedicated to providing funding and personal support for the AFJROTC programs in the Leander Independent School District to help motivate young people to become better citizens. Our efforts will provide leadership, community service, self-development and teamwork opportunities not found in other programs.
The Leander AFJROTC Booster Club organizes, hosts and volunteers several annual events for the cadets and their families.
The Booster Club fundraises money and items of which 100% are applied to the cadets and Leander HS AFJROTC activities.
Our Mission Develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community.
- Our Purpose Instill in students the value of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility, character, and a sense of accomplishment. To make the greatest positive impact in the lives of our cadets as possible. This is perfectly encapsulated in our motto: “Building Better Citizens for America.”
- Our Vision Statement Air Force Junior ROTC will provide a quality citizenship, character, and leadership development program, while fostering enduring partnerships and relationships with high schools, educational institutions, and communities that help meet our citizen development mission.
- Air Force Mission The mission of the United States Air Force is to fly, fight and win—in air, space and cyberspace.
- Air Force Core Values Integrity first, Service before self, and Excellence in all we do.
- Our club can only be as good as the members who choose to join it. We believe that “It Takes a Village” to support our students in providing opportunities not found in any other program. Even if you can only give a few hours of your time, there is a valuable place for you on our team!
AFJROTC TX-20007 Annual Chili Fest is growing and now includes a CAR SHOW! This will be a RAIN OR SHINE event! The festival will include Vendors, Veteran Recognition, Silent Auction, Music, Raffle, Kids activities, and an All-You-Can-Eat homemade chili. We will have live AFJROTC demonstrations including Color Guard, Drill, and Model Rocketry exhibitions. We encourage everyone and ANYTHING on wheels to come out!
The U.S. flag should not be flown in the rain or in the dark. You can light the flag at night (a small garden spotlight would do the trick), or bring it inside. In bad weather, the flag should be enjoying the shelter of your home or garage.
To sign up, you can either register online, or print and complete the Flag Subscription Registration Form and either mail it to the address on the form or drop it off in the band hall.
