No. Booostr has no monthly or annual subscription — you only pay the per-transaction rate, and even that can be covered by your supporters.
Our published rate is 1.75% platform fee + 2.9% + $0.30 Stripe processing (4.65% + $0.30 per transaction). The "1.5% or less" figure is the effective cost after supporter-covered fees are factored in — roughly 95% of supporters choose to cover them.
The standard transaction fee applies to that donation, same as any platform. The 98.5%+ figure reflects the typical blended outcome across a campaign, not a guarantee on every single transaction.
No — Booostr never prompts supporters for a tip at checkout. That's a deliberate difference from platforms that rely on optional tips (often 8%+ if unclaimed) to stay "free."
Because our fee is transparent and mostly supporter-covered, we don't need a subscription or a tip model to sustain the platform.
